Welcome to du Pont/Krieghoff! This year we are celebrating our 60th anniversary of starting in the target shotgun business. Our founder, Hal du Pont, had a vision to provide American shooters with not only high quality firearms, but also very high touch service for the guns that fuel their passion. We have a proud history of helping our customers reach their shooting goals for 60 years!

I recently started working for this historic firm in 2014, and have been planning this blog since the first day on the job. With the launch of our new website, the blog will be an integral part of our online presence. We will provide Krieghoff technical data, new product information, shooting tips, historical insights and answer-selected questions. Look forward to plenty of detailed pictures of fine guns, and action shots from the field!

I have, primarily, a sporting clays and FITASC background. However, here at duPont/Krieghoff we support all clayshooting disciplines. I will be learning more about the skeet and trap world, and will be leaning on our accomplished shooters in these disciplines. We will also, from time to time, have hunting related information and stories from around the world.
